Plymouth on the Road Motorcycle Safety Event Could Become Annual
Last month, Great Britain’s Derriford held an event known as Plymouth on the Road, a campaign that sought to raise awareness among citizens about motorcycle safety. More than 500 people turned out for the event in the Plymouth area, which found participants receiving safety tips and being allowed to test out a driving simulator to view firsthand the challenges faced by motorcyclists. Plymouth has been troubled by motorcycle fatalities as of late, putting them in the bottom three in the country for safety relative to size. This event, though, was so successful that they’re already discussing hosting a similar event next year.
