Propane Leak Defect Leads Winnebago to Recall 44 Motor Homes
Itasca and Winnebago motor homes of the 2012 and 2013 model years have been recalled by Winnebago. 44 motor homes fall within the purview of the recall, which was the result of a potential defect with the copper propane tubing. Because of this defect, the tubing might be compromised after a long period of time and lead propane to emanate from this component. This could cause an explosion. In September, owners will be contacted and the component will be replaced at no cost to consumers.
