Red Vines Black Licorice Twists Recalled for Lead Threat
Due to high levels of lead, Red Vines Black Licorice Twists are being recalled by the American Licorice Company. The affected 16 ounce bags have a sell by date of February 4, 2013. Consumers who have purchased these candies are being instructed to return them to the grocer they were bought from. Children under the age of six in particular can become seriously ill if too many of these candies are consumed.
