Report Details Car Seat Safety Tips and Statistics

According to a new report, only 25% of child car seats are properly installed. Car crashes are the leading cause of death among children, and a properly installed car seat can reduce the risk of death by 71%. Parents are encouraged to have their children use a car seat until they are tall enough to be properly secured by a regular seat belt. Also, most car seats expire in six years, and they should all have stamps on the back that detail the expiration date.
