Report Details Hazards Posed by Food Trucks in New York City

A memo from the New York City Fire Department purportedly highlights the myriad risks posed by food trucks within the city.  In addition to commonly perceived safety issues such as potential fire hazards and foodborne illness threats, the memo reportedly says that the trucks could be utilized by terror groups looking to monitor certain facilities.  The propane contained within these trucks can also pose a hazard in the event of an accident, and electrical issues are said to be presented by food trucks as well.
