San Antonio’s University Hospital and Toyota Create Buckle Up Program
Toyota is going the extra mile to keep children safe on the road. Partnering with University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, the auto manufacturer has created a buckle up program. This program is designed to educate parents and children alike about the importance of using a safety seat and seatbelts. The program is targeted toward local minorities, as research from the University of Michigan shows that Hispanic and African American children are ten times more likely than Caucasian kids to not be in a car seat or using a seatbelt.
