San Jose Officials Take Part in AT & T’s “It Can Wait” Campaign
Many people and companies are beginning to join the cause to get distracted drivers off of the roads. AT&T has even joined the fight through a campaign called “It Can Wait.” Using hand held devices while behind the wheel is one of the leading causes of distracted driving, especially among teenagers. Officials in San Jose voiced their support for the campaign by signing a pledge not to text and drive in a public presentation at City Hall. They hope that the campaign will reach people and let them know how dangerous texting truly is.
