San Luis Obispo Bike Rodeo Encourages Safe Riding Practices
In San Luis Obispo’s Emerson Park, students were recently able to take part in a bike rodeo meant to encourage safety among younger riders. Various local organizations, as well as the police department and the city itself, were responsible for the event, which found volunteers providing attendees with tips on safe and lawful riding and what types of hand signals to use on the road. McCarty BMX even provided participants with a stunt show.
