Sioux Falls Cellphone Ban Momentarily Delayed
As of now, Sioux Falls, South Dakota has no ban on texting while driving. That could have changed recently, but because several members of the Sioux Falls City Council could not get to the meeting where a vote was set to take place, there have been no official changes to the law as of yet. The proposed ordinance will deal with all kinds of gadget usage on the road. The goal is to make it illegal to use electronics for just about anything while driving, with the Council seeking to close all loopholes that could lead to distracted driving. The law will now likely be decided in September.
