Texting While Driving Ban Passed in Coahoma, Texas
The town of Coahoma, Texas has put into place a ban on texting while driving. A member of the city council proposed the ban after nearly being run over by an individual that was texting. The ban was quickly put into action. Quotes show that the young people of the town seem to share the council’s enthusiasm for the measure. Though texting is prevalent among them, most are aware of the dangers of texting while driving and agree that this ban has the power to save lives.
