Texting While Driving To Be Banned in Ohio By The End of the Week

The state of Ohio recently passed a law that will ban all drivers from texting while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. That law goes into effect at the end of this week.  The legislation was signed by the Governor in June.  The law made a violation a secondary offense, which means drivers can’t only be stopped for texting.  Texting must instead accompany another breach in traffic law before the officer can pull an offender over.
