Thibodaux Police Hold Bicycle Rodeo to Promote Safety
Next Tuesday, Thibodaux, Louisiana will be the site of a bicycle rodeo hosted by the local police department. Officers will be available to teach children strategies meant to encourage bike safety and proper maintenance. This is the first such effort ever conducted by Thibodaux Police, but they hope to hold more events in the future. Helmets will be handed out to select participants. An increase in bike traffic during the summer has prompted the safety effort.
