Tuckahoe Honored with Platinum Award from AAA New York
AAA New York recently bestowed Platinum Awards on four communities throughout the state that have made a concerted effort to improve traffic safety in their area. Tuckahoe was one of those villages that received the award, and the police chief of that district is proud of his officers’ effort to enforce the law. In just half a decade, Tuckahoe has seen seat belt usage rise to 97% compliance and bike injuries decreased by 75%.
