Undeclared Ingredient Prompts Vaquería Tres Monjitas to Recall Juice
Vaquería Tres Monjitas has announced the recall of all sizes of their pineapple-guava flavored juice beverage. This recall is being issued because there’s the possibility that the drink uses sodium caseinate as an ingredient. This is a milk derivative and thus may cause a serious allergic reaction in those with sensitivities to dairy. The FDA requires that food labels declare when such ingredients are present. No one has reported getting sick as of yet.
