University of Arkansas Students Try Out Distracted Driving Simulator
University of Arkansas-Fayetteville students recently received a lesson in safety via virtual reality. The computer-simulated driving experience brought to campus showed that distraction caused by the use of cellphones, especially texting while driving, can easily result in fatalities. AT & T sponsored the program, and one mother affected by a tragedy stated that texting while driving is more dangerous than driving drunk when you look at the likelihood of having an accident when engaging in each activity.
