Visibility Issue Prompts GM to Recall 44,668 Chevy Sonic Vehicles

General Motors has issued a recall for the Chevy Sonic of the 2012 model year.  Around 44,668 units have a potential problem with their windshield washer hose.  This component can actually separate from the reservoir that holds the washer fluid, resulting in a lack of available fluid. This could thus compromise visibility should debris accumulate on the glass.  The recall affects vehicles that were built between May 5, 2011 and February 24 of this year.  Owners will be able to get free repairs from dealers.
