Westchester, Illinois Supports “No Text on Board- Pledge Day”

In Westchester, Illinois, the Village President has declared September 19 to be “No Text on Board- Pledge Day,” which will see various officials trying to get drivers to pledge not to text and drive. The president is concerned with the growing problem of distracted driving.  The police chief was also touched after seeing an AT & T commercial focusing on the story of a teen that had a life-changing accident caused by texting and driving. Authorities hope the upcoming event will raise awareness and help drivers avoid any terrible incidents.
