Wheego Whip LiFe Electric Car Gets Safety Exemption Extension
The Wheego Whip LiFe electric car has been granted an extension in regards to compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards that will allow the vehicle to be kept on the market until the end of the year. The exemption is being made to allow the automakers to equip new versions of the vehicle with Electronic Stability Control and advanced airbags. Wheego has pledged to meet ESC requirements by the end of the year.
